City of Everett, Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Carlo DeMaria welcome Santa and friends to the Annual Tree Lighting in Everett Square

  Santa Claus and friends visited Everett for the Annual Tree Lighting hosted by the city, Everett Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Carlo DeMaria on Friday evening, marking the beginning of the Holiday season. Santa arrived courtesy of the Everett Fire Dept. and was greeted by a crowded square of kids of all ages. Led in by the award-winning Everett High School Marching Band, Santa & Mrs. Claus, Woody, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Buzz Lightyear, Olaf and many more Disney characters were available for photos with the kids. Local elected officials, Everett Police Dept. members, businesses and organizations also took part in the festivities. A train ride around the square was available as well as many treats of all flavors and styles.
