Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Everett Democratic City Committee will hold its annual caucus on Tuesday, March 8 at 7 p.m. Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. and close promptly at 7:00. Given the ongoing concerns surrounding COVID-19, this meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. If you wish to participate, please send an email to everettdems6@gmail.com to receive a registration link.

The purpose of the caucus is to elect delegates and alternates to the 2022 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. The convention will be held on Saturday, June 4 at the DCU Center in Worcester. Delegates will come together to endorse candidates for statewide office, including Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General and Auditor. Delegates, alternates and guests will be able to attend the Convention virtually, and all voting will take place remotely.

Participation in the caucus is open to all Everett registered Democrats. Youths, minorities, people with disabilities and LGBTQ individuals who are not elected as a delegate or alternate may apply to be an add-on delegate at the caucus or at www.massdems.org.
