  The City of Everett was pleased to partner with Careen Coaching to offer a powerful event on mental health and healing in the Haitian community. The Haitian and Healing Initiative brought together rising thought leaders of the Haitian Diaspora on Saturday, May 20, 2023, to share ways to strengthen the resiliency and overall progress of Haitian Americans through the lens of socio-emotional well-being. In addition to the thought-provoking conversation, local vendors and community organizations helped to make the event a success.

  The Haitian and Healing Initiative was a part of the City of Everett’s commemoration of Haitian Heritage Month, which is celebrated in May.
