  Yarn Club: Parlin Fireplace Room, Tuesday, April 30, at 7 p.m. Come chit-chat and stitch! Bring your crocheting, knitting or any other yarn craft and sit and socialize with other members of the crafting community. Recommended for ages 14-109!

Blackstone Valley Veggie Growers: Companion Planting & Design: Parlin Meeting Room, Saturday, May 4, at 11:00 a.m. Some plants just naturally grow better next to others and some just don’t. Learn what keeps the peace in your garden. No registration required.

 

Parlin Children’s

  Lego Club: Parlin Children’s Room, Monday, April 29, from 3-5 p.m. Come to the Children’s Room after school on Mondays for some free Lego-building fun. Open to all ages; children under six years old must be accompanied by an adult; no registration required.

Storytime and Sing-along with Karen: Parlin Children’s Room, Wednesday, May 1, at 11 a.m. Join us for a fun-filled morning of singing and storytelling with Karen! Suggested ages: newborn to six.

Drama Class: Parlin Children’s Room, Wednesday, May 1, at 3 p.m. Do you have a drama queen or king at home? Drama Class in the Parlin Children’s Department is the perfect opportunity for your child to put those acting skills to use with our drama coach! Suggested ages: six to 14.

Story Time Adventures with Mrs. McAuliffe: Parlin Children’s Room, Thursday, May 2, and Friday, May 3, at 11 a.m. Join us for our enchanting Story Time! You will be whisked away on magical adventures through the pages of your favorite books. Bring a friend or make a new one in our circle of friends.

Crafternoon: Parlin children’s arts & crafts area; join us on Thursday, May 2, at 3 p.m. for a fun craft project and story time, and let your imagination run free! Suggested ages: five and up.

Fluency Fun Fridays! Parlin Children’s Room, Friday, May 3, at 3 p.m. Level up your fluency game! Join Mrs. McAuliffe for an afternoon of fun board games like Scrabble and Bananagrams, word searches and crossword puzzles. Suggested ages: five to 12.

 

Shute Adult and Teens

  Teen Book Group: Shute Meeting Room, Tuesday, April 30, at 3 p.m. Join our Teen Book Group! This month, we will be reading “An Ember in the Ashes” by Sabba Tahir. Light snacks and beverages will be generously provided by the Friends of the Everett Public Libraries. For ages 14-18. Copies are limited; pick up your copy at the Shute Library soon!
