Former City Clerk pens Everett history sequel

  Former Everett City Clerk Michael Matarazzo has published a sequel to his original book, “They Came from Everett.” Titled “They Came from Everett, Too,” the book highlights the lives of more than 60 Everett natives who added to the city’s rich history and legacy. While the book features people that the average Everett native clearly recognizes, it also is filled with little known and hardly recognized individuals.

  “I try to recognize the people we all know, but also want to bring back to life those that may have been forgotten throughout the years,” said Matarazzo. “It continually amazes me how much I learn doing research for the books.”

  Matarazzo has set up a website to make it convenient to order the books. “Since this self-published, it is up to me to market it, sell it and even ship it – the website has been a big help,” said Michael.
