Former Immaculate Conception Pastor Rev. William Schmidt Celebrates Golden Jubilee

Reverend William “Fr. Bill” Schmidt recently marked a monumental milestone, celebrating 50 years of dedicated priesthood. The Golden Jubilee was honored with a special Mass and celebratory reception held at St. Patrick Church in Stoneham. Fr. Bill, who served for many years as the beloved pastor of Immaculate Conception (IC), was surrounded by parishioners, friends and community members gathering to express their deep gratitude for his half-century of spiritual leadership and service. Among the attendees paying tribute to Fr. Bill were Bob Sansone, the former IC CYO basketball coach during Fr. Bill’s tenure, and his wife, Marguerite.
