Harpoon Brewery kicks off 2023 Harpoon 5-Miler with check presentation

Harpoon Brewery recently hosted a reception at the company’s South Boston brewery to kick off the 2023 Harpoon 5-Miler. During the reception, Harpoon Brewery President Charles Storey (second from left) and Mass. Bay Brewing Company Event and Sponsorship Manager Nicole Sawyer (right) presented a $241,960 check to The Angel Fund for ALS Research, which was accepted by Founding Director Eugene Nigro (left) and President Rich Kennedy. The donation represents the money raised by thousands of runners who participated in the 2022 Harpoon 5-Miler. To date, Harpoon Brewery has raised more than $2.6 million for ALS research. This year’s Harpoon 5-Miler will be held on Sunday, May 21.
