Print Friendly, PDF & Email

By Tara Vocino

Mystic Valley Elder Services Wellness Nurse Jenelle Wilkins will visit weekly on Tuesdays for on-site nursing education, and Nursing Director Lisa Jimenez will visit monthly for nursing presentations for the 21 Whittier Dr. housing complex, which services 120 units. MVES was honored to be one of 4 community-based organizations to receive grant awards through the Public Health Workforce Expansion Project (through the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs in partnership with the U.S. Administration for Community Living with funding from the American Rescue Plan Act [ARPA]). With this funding, MVES launched a new pilot program to assign nurses to work with residents in several existing Supportive Housing sites in Malden and Everett.
