Former EHS Head Football Coach releases an email statement to Advocate sports reporter Joseph McConnell regarding Everett Advocate story published in the Nov. 27, 2024 edition, which states:

“Your article is the first time that I have heard that the program planned on going a different direction and that it “was not working on many levels” after a win vs Taunton while still being in the playoff hunt. This conversation about where the direction of where everything was heading was not had until last Friday. I would like that corrected as soon as possible and I will not be commenting further on the matter. I appreciate the time working with you over the past 16 months. ” – Just Flores
