The City of Malden seeks candidates for full time position of the Water Utilities Special Motor Equipment Operator/Laborer.
The SMEO/Laborer reports to the Water Utilities Director and/or Working Foreman. This position requires a current Commercial Driver’s License – Class B with air brake endorsement or CDL permit to receive CDL within 6 months of date of hire. Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer License required. Candidates should have the minimum of 3 years’ experience in operating hydraulic equipment capable of operating backhoe and loader. Knowledge in performing winter operations and be able to lift fifty (50) pounds, with or without accommodation. Strong ability to communicate effectively, along with being punctual and dependable.
