CORRECTION: Ward 8 Councillor Sica opposed to Eastern Ave. cannabis dispensary

  In a story that appeared in last week’s Malden Advocate, it was incorrectly reported that Ward 8 Councillor Jadeane Sica spoke IN FAVOR of a proposed cannabis dispensary at 926 Eastern Ave., Benevolent Botanicals. In fact, at a Planning Board meeting where the plan was presented, Councillor Sica spoke IN OPPOSITION to the proposal. Also, the proposed dispensary is located in WARD 6, not in WARD 8, which might have been misconstrued due to how the story was portrayed.
