The first update is regarding the rebuild of the Northeast Metro Tech school. A group of the Friends of the Malden River (FoMR) is actively advocating for the NEMT Forest while supporting the new Voke. There is an opportunity to contribute public comment to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) that was not available before due to a decision not to review the environmental aspects of this project. Here is a Neighborhood View Article that shares information about the confusion of the Northeast Metro Tech School rebuild: https://neighborhoodview.org/2023/02/21/the-vote-for-the-voke-has-led-to-a-surprising-twist/
