National Public Health Week (NPHW) began in 1995 with the American Public Health Association (APHA). The goal was to bridge gaps between the public and service providers. NPHW occurs annually during the first full week of April. This year that is from April 1 to April 7.
In the spirit of NPHW, a health fair is taking place in Malden on Saturday, April 6, at the Salemwood School Field House (529 Salem St., Malden) in both the cafeteria (first floor) and gymnasium (second floor) from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Over 45 vendors will be participating to meet and inform the public about their services:
