The Malden High School Boys Volleyball Team completed another successful regular season with a 3-0 sweep of three sets versus Medford at the Finn Gym at Malden High School on Wednesday night. Head Coach Dan Jurkowski’s Golden Tornados team finished the regular season at 14-6. They now await their MIAA Division 1 State Boys Volleyball Tournament pairings, which are expected to be announced on Thursday. Malden has now appeared in the state tournament in five of six years of the program’s existence.

On Wednesday night, the team’s seniors, their families and friends were honored on “Senior Night.” Included were captains Kyle Lee, Kevin Lin and Eric Mei, along with Timothy Du, Jason Song and Aiden Tham. The Malden High School Athletic Department and MHS school community wishes the Tornado Volleyball Seniors well in their futures and good luck in the upcoming State Tournament.
