Malden Ward 6 School Committeeman Joe Gray’s Acceptance Speech

I thank my wife, Rachana, for her inspiration, ever-present support and smiles over these many long years. This year, I also thank Nick for his diligent, solid and sweat filled work of helping me reach out to constituents. My children are my inspiration and my goal for being in elected office in the Malden Public School system. Our lean and mostly scandal free campaign has come to an end now in 2023. Thank you, Ward 6, for believing in me. I will continue to do my best to make the hard choices, evaluate difficult situations and take tough votes based on my conscience, beliefs and circumstances. Sometimes, there are no good choices, when it comes time to vote. Sometimes, there is only one right choice, when it comes time to vote. Thank you for entrusting me to make those choices and decisions on your behalf. Thank you all for allowing me to serve the Ward 6 community for the next two years. God bless America.
