Mayor hosts successful re-election fundraiser

Malden Mayor Gary Christenson hosted a packed campaign fundraiser at Anthony’s Of Malden last Thursday night.

Christenson, who graduated from the Malden Public Schools, thanked his family for always supporting him. Together, he and his team built a new police station, built affordable housing, revitalized city hall, and delivered transformative results for the city, among other collective tasks.

Emcee Adam Weldai, who serves on the School Committee, said Malden needs four more years. He first met Weldai when he served as a student representative on the School Committee, and he recently officiated their wedding.
