Opioid Task Force holds Town Hall to discuss state of addiction

In an effort to provide an update on Malden’s ongoing efforts to combat the opioid crisis, the City of Malden’s Opioid Task Force will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, March 13 at 7 p.m. (Boardroom 105, 215 Pleasant St., first floor). Mayor Gary Christenson, Malden Board of Health Addiction Recovery Resource Specialist Paul Hammersley and members of the Task Force will discuss various initiatives, including the work of Malden Cares and their collaboration with various stakeholders, including local government, law enforcement agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations and concerned citizens to assist those living with substance use disorder.
