Age 87, died on Thursday, May 18th at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading. She was the wife of the late Ronald T. Murphy, Sr. Born and raised in Lawrence, Mrs. Murphy was the daughter of the late Nelson and Juliette Bruneau. She had been a resident of Malden for 61 years. June was a former telephone operator for NYNEX/Verizon for 35 years, but her primary interest was her family.
Mrs. Murphy is survived by her two sons, Ronald T. Murphy, Jr. of SC and Kevin Murphy of Saugus; three grandsons, Patrick, Sean and Daniel; three great-grandchildren; and her brother, Nelson Bruneau of FL.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend visitation in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, Saugus on Monday, May 22nd followed by a service in the funeral home.
