A lifelong resident of Malden passed away on Saturday, October 23, after a lengthy illness. Scott was born in Malden in 1964, the son of William and Theresa Russell.  He was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1982.   After graduation, he began working at New England Tea and Coffee as a machine operator.  Scott worked there for over 30 years.   Scott was an avid Bruins fan, and a longtime member of the East Side Athletic Association in Malden.

He is survived by his son, Vincent Michael Russell of Boston, his cherished longtime companion,  Chamaine Scalli of Malden, and his  brothers  Stephen Russell of Medford and Paul Russell of West Newbury.

In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his brothers, Mark Russell and Brian Russell.

Funeral services will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Monday, November 1, at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, at 10 AM.  Interment to follow in Puritan Lawn Cemetery.  Peabody.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, October  31, from 4 – 8 PM.
