  Of Malden, MA passed away on April 28, 2022 after a long battle with Lewy Body dementia. Steve was born on March 17, 1963 and lived in Woburn, MA for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents Joyce and Bertrand LaFrance and is survived by his longtime partner Kim Addison and his brother Scott LaFrance. He loved music and was a drummer with Natural Reaction for many years. The highlight for their group was participating in a “battle of the bands” on the Great Woods (now the Xfinity Center) stage. An avid traveler who hated to fly, he had many adventures with Kim visiting Las Vegas, Jamaica, Florida, Costa Rica, NYC, Puerto Rico and Barbados. Steve was persistent and a dreamer, who was also creative and extremely empathetic. He was always a champion of the underdog. He loved all kinds of music, especially Jimmy Buffet. He was a huge sports fan and enjoyed watching the Bruins, Patriots and Nascar racing.

  A celebration of life will be held on Friday May 6, 2022 from 10:00 am to noon at the Weir Mac Cuish Funeral Home – 144 Salem St Malden, MA. friends and family are invited to attend.
