Incoming MHS freshman medals at North American IPF Championships

Mayor Gary Christenson was honored to welcome former Beebe School student and incoming Malden High School freshman Ava Lacasse, fresh from her successful adventure at the North American International Powerlifting Federation Championships. The event was held on August 9 in the Cayman Islands. Lacasse, just 15 years old, was the youngest athlete at the event. While representing the USA Junior National Power Lifting Team, she earned four gold medals. Congratulations!
