Jacob Clark beat Kevin Burkett in the second period, putting Hingham up 1-0.

Jagger Benson scored a goal from the point off of a beautiful feed from Junior Jerry Bazile. The Lancers tied the game late with extreme offensive pressure, but Hingham dominated almost the entire game, outshooting MC 28-21.

The game resulted in a shootout, where Hingham grabbed their first ever pass to the championship round of the Christie Serino Christmas Tournament, as they will take on the St. Mary’s Spartans.

“I know that they have not ever been out in the first round because we’ve lost to them ever year,” said Hingham Head Coach Tony Messina. “We are very happy to be able to come out on top. We both have young squads. It’s a pleasure coaching against this coaching staff over at Malden Catholic for sure”
