It’s a Merrier Christmas for the Crimson Tide Football Team and fans after they won the Div. One State Championship at Gillette last Saturday. Hey, it’s not easy for the kids, who had to practice five days a week after attending classes. A good majority of these football players are good student athletes who will attend universities like B.C., Penn State, Syracuse and Notre Dame. After graduating, some enter the NFL, just like Dr. Omar Easy. Supt. Foresteire is proud of all the EHS student athletes.

Honestly, I never doubted that the Crimson Tide Football Team would go undefeated and add another championship year to the Super Bowl billboard on the Parkway. The Tide never had so many talented high school players on one team with such speed and size. All season the kids worked hard, and they deserved the Super Bowl win on Saturday. Coach “Dibs” and his excellent staff did a tremendous job of getting the players ready for another 12 rounds with Xaverian.

How about the cheerleaders? They put on a great show of talent with above-and-beyond enthusiasm. And the EHS Marching Band was at its finest. So folks, be thankful that Everett has a caring Supt. of Schools who is all for the kids, and a Mayor who lends his support as one of the Tide’s super fans.
