For the first time in the history of the Revere Police Department, three female captains now serve on the department – after one was promoted last Friday morning. Maria A. La Vita was promoted from the rank of Lieutenant to Captain; Lynn M. Romboli from the rank of Sergeant to Lieutenant; and Jon Richard-Gibson from Patrolman/Detective to Sergeant. The female captains are Maria La Vita, Amy O’Hara and Michelle Mangino.
