  The national flag of Ireland was raised in front of City Hall to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day last Thursday night.

Mayor Brian Arrigo said the Irish flag colors stand for Republicanism, Protestantism and uniting Catholics and Protestants through peace, despite doctrinal differences.
