RevereTV Spotlight

  Tune in to RevereTV tonight for the premiere of a new episode of “Cooking Made Simple” with Chef Kelly. The show starts at 7 p.m. Follow along with Chef Kelly as he makes a multicourse lamb dinner. Some RevereTV staff were lucky enough to try some, and they say it was delicious!

RevereTV cooking programs are created in partnership with the Rossetti-Cowan Senior Center to provide Revere’s seniors with more viewing content. All community programming airs on the Community Channel, which is 8 and 1072 for Comcast subscribers, and 3 and 614 on RCN.

  A new update from “The Senior FYI” will be airing soon on the Community Channel. Revere Director of Elder Affairs Deb Peczka always brings a guest to present some new information about the Rossetti-Cowan Senior Center and events around the city that may interest resident seniors. All quick episodes of “The Senior FYI” can be found on all of RevereTV’s social media accounts, but the latest recordings play on the Community Channel at various times throughout the week, particularly weekday mornings and early afternoons.

  The McKinley School building is up for a renovation soon. To help decide what to do with the facility, the City of Revere has been holding revisioning meetings with the public. These meetings took place via Zoom so anyone could participate and give input. The meetings aired live on RevereTV on television, Facebook and YouTube. Replays will be scheduled on television throughout the next few weeks on RTV Gov. The government channel is 9 on Comcast and 13 and 613 for RCN subscribers.

  On RTV Gov, you will also see the latest License Commission Meeting, Board of Health Meeting, Ways and Means Sub-Committee Meeting and Revere City Council Meeting. All government meetings replay throughout the following weeks on RTV. Any meeting recorded by RevereTV can be found in the respective playlists on YouTube.
