Happy Valentine’s Day from the staff at RevereTV! This week you will see a Valentine’s Day special of “Cooking with the Keefe’s.” Patrick and Jennifer hit up the RevereTV kitchen studio to show you how to make a special meal and dessert for the holiday. The main course is surf and turf, and the dessert is a brownie cake with a meringue topping. Check out this new episode now airing on the RevereTV Community Channel and posted to YouTube and Facebook. If you are planning on following along with the Keefes, you can find the full recipe at any time in the video description on YouTube – to help gather and prepare your ingredients. While on YouTube, check out the playlists of RTV’s other cooking programs: “What’s Cooking, Revere?” and “Cooking Made Simple.”

It’s been Revere High School Basketball frenzy on RTV these past few weeks. All games have been covered by RevereTV, including the boys’ basketball game vs. Hamilton at TD Garden. You can even watch a highlight reel of that game. The latest games replaying on RTV feature both the boys’ and girls’ Senior Night games. Sports coverage often includes play-by-play announcing by volunteer announcers and livestreaming to RTV on television, Facebook and YouTube. All games replay on the Community Channel and get posted to the respective playlists on YouTube.

You can always tune in to RevereTV to watch Revere’s municipal meetings live as they happen. Most meetings stream from the City Council Chambers at City Hall. Meetings replay on RTV GOV for a few weeks following the initial air date, but also stay posted to YouTube and Facebook, where meetings initially stream live. The meetings are easiest to find on YouTube at your convenience as they are sorted into the categorized playlist. Although there is an education channel of its own, Revere School Committee Meetings will also be replaying on RTV GOV. As a reminder, this is channel 9 on Comcast and 13 and 613 on RCN. Monday municipal meetings on Comcast also air in HD on channel 1072.

If you are interested in public access media and getting involved in community productions, stop by RevereTV on Washington Avenue to learn more about what is offered to all community members. Being a community member is completely free and the only stipulation is that you are a resident of Revere. Members can take classes about the elements and skills of video production, volunteer to help with RevereTV productions, or make programs of their own. All community programming airs on the RTV Community Channel, which is 8 and 1072 on Comcast and 3 and 614 on RCN.
