  This last week included Senior Night for many fall sports teams! Since RevereTV has been recording every Revere High School Football game, RTV game coverage last week included the team’s Senior Night ceremony. If you missed it or just want to reminisce with the seniors, you can watch it in full at any time on RevereTV’s YouTube page. The game will be replaying on various nights throughout the week on the community channel.

  The annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration took place at Revere High School again this year. You can watch the event on RevereTV, including awards for members of the community, dancing, musical performances and a live cooking demonstration. Check out the over two-hour celebration on RevereTV’s community channel.

  A highlight reel from the latest Shirley Ave. Night Market is now playing on RevereTV. Watch to see what you can expect at the next one next year! This pop-up market had local vendors and services, a photo booth and a flu/COVID-19 vaccine station. The goal was to support local businesses and build community around Sandler Square on Shirley Avenue. Watch and listen to interviews with vendors and community members on RTV’s social media and the RevereTV community channel on television.

  It’s almost Halloween and the city celebrations have already begun. Many residents started their fun with Revere Parks & Recreation’s Fright Night at the Rumney Marsh Academy. This is an annual event with trunk-or-treat, music and inflatables. Families come dressed in their best costumes and kick off Halloween. RevereTV did not decorate the media van this year, but did catch some highlights. Watch on the RTV community channel throughout the week and on YouTube at any time.

  There are some things to look out for coming soon on RevereTV. Chef Kelly Armetta recorded another episode of “Cooking Made Simple.” The city put on The Great Pumpkin Dash, and the Senior Center hosted a Halloween Party! Watch all of RevereTV’s community programming and event coverage on channels 8 and 1072 for Comcast subscribers or 3 and 614 for RCN subscribers. You must subscribe to cable to watch RTV on television, but anyone with internet access can watch the YouTube channel and videos on RTV’s Facebook page.
