Second Annual Colombian Flag Raising celebrates country’s independence

The second annual Colombian Flag Raising celebrated their independence on Wednesday outside of City Hall.

Pride-2 — Colombian pride was evident during last week’s flag raising at City Hall.

Music-2 — Colombian music was performed.

Mayor-2 — During the second annual Colombian flag raising, Mayor Brian Arrigo said he is proud to have such a robust Colombian population in the city.

Largest-2 — Jorge Garcia said Revere has the second largest Colombian population in New England.

Garcia-2 — Journalist Saul Garcia helped to promote the event on radio.
