Giovanna “Jennie” (DeMarco) D’Amato

Of Revere, formerly of East Boston and the North End, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 94 years of age.

Beloved wife of Mario D’Amato for over 57 years.

Devoted mother of John Baldassari of Saugus, Joanne Baldassari of Malden, Denise Coe of N.H., and the late Ronald Baldassari, Steven Baldassari, and Joyce Iantosca.

Dear sister of the late Angelo, Angie, and Mildred.

Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jennie’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
