Saugus walloped by Nor’easter

IMPASSABLE: A large tree that was felled by the powerful winds of Wednesday’s (Oct. 27) Nor’easter blocked off Garfield Avenue to traffic. The storm damaged fences, created hazardous road and sidewalk conditions and knocked down electrical wires – resulting in power outages affecting close to 100 homes and businesses.
