State Rep. Donald Wong elected to Massachusetts Republican State Committee

The Republican Town & City committees of Saugus, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Swampscott, Nahant & Lynn held a regional caucus to fill the vacancy on the Massachusetts Republican State Committee. This was held on Thursday, 10 August at the Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus.

A vacancy was created by the passing of longtime Republican State Committee member Steve Zykofsky of Lynn. Steve Zykofsky was remembered as a dedicated & distinguished member who devoted tremendous energy, passion & knowledge to the Republican Party. A moment of silence was held to honor his memory & legacy.

State Representative Donald Wong offered his name to fulfill the remainder of Steve’s term.

Donald Wong was unanimously elected to serve on the Massachusetts Republican State Committee.

He will serve out the remainder of Steve Zykofsky’s term & run for a full 4 year term on the Massachusetts Republican State Committee in the March 2024 Presidential Primary.
