John T. Gorman

Of Saugus.  Died on Monday, February 20th at the Briarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Needham at the age of 75. He was the husband of the late Beverly A. (Stagno) Gorman. Born in Boston, Mr. Gorman was the son of the late Richard E. and Mary M. (Walsh) Gorman. A graduate of Bentley University, he was retired from the City of Boston Treasurer’s Department. John was a member of the Malden Anglers and of the choir at St. Margaret’s Church. He was also a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.

   John is survived by his two sisters, Regina Spadoni and her husband Edward of Norwood and Mary-Ellen Trethewey and her husband Robert of Dedham; was the loving uncle of Claire, Lauren, Peter, Erin and Caitlin and seven great nieces and nephews; as well as many other family members friends.

   Relatives and friends were invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus on Thursday. A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Margaret’s Church, 431 Lincoln Ave., Saugus at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to St. Margaret’s Parish, 431 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, MA 01906.
