The baseball season continues tomorrow (Saturday, June 4) for the Saugus High School Sachems. They will play Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School in a state tournament game that is set for 5 p.m. at World Series Park in Saugus.

“We are truly honored to host a state tournament game,” World Series Park Superintendent Bob Davis said.

“This is only the second time this has happened in the 18 years World Series Park has been in existence. We hope the people of Saugus will come out to cheer-on the Saugus High team,” he said.

Saugus High qualified for the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Division 3 state baseball tournament with a 10-10 record. Martha’s Vineyard heads into the game at 11-9.
